We are tackling the big challenges – and in doing so, we are changing the way we interact as a society.

We believe that just as the great challenges of our time are man-made, so too can we overcome them and create a livable future. But mutually shaped change requires a system, a contemporary mode of social cooperation. We develop and test what makes this system unique in thematically focused processes, which we refer to as our missions. Always keeping one big goal in mind, we combine society’s wealth of ideas with the ability of politics and business to implement them.

The focus is on initiators – teams or individuals who develop innovative approaches to solving a problem. Together with experts and strong partners from different areas, they learn by doing, test their solutions, and improve them.

The basis of our activities is a systemic understanding of society.

The times of linear dependencies and clear causalities are over. Effective change requires spaces for co-creation, trust, openness, and exchange as equals. Unusual alliances, new networks, and living ecosystems instead of competition, silo thinking, and linearity.

We don’t wait for individual actors to solve problems, but instead find the most effective levers to effect social change directly during implementation. We test on a small scale, but always think big. When something works well, we spread the word. In order to achieve the greatest possible impact, we collect and share our knowledge and continuously develop ourselves as a learning organization.
